    Additionally, our organization has recently expanded its scope with the establishment of a dedicated branch focused on anti-trafficking initiatives, furthering our commitment to safeguarding vulnerable populations.

  • Located in Mae Ramat, the Operations Coordinator is a member of the GAP team and primarily responsible to coordinate the office for the anti-trafficking branch. This position includes being a government liaison, visa assistant, victim case advocate.

  • Location: Mae Ramat (Ban Huai Bong)

    Type: Full time (9:00am - 5:00pm Monday-Friday)

    Contract length: 1 year contract

    Start date: Immediate

    Salary: 20,000 baht/month (3 month probation period at 17,000)

  • Government Liaison

    Prepare all required materials and manage the process to set up the anti-human trafficking branch of the foundation

    Oral and written translation between English/Thai for meetings, official documents and general office work (for all roles)

    Cooperate with the Ministry of Social Welfare and Human Security, Immigration and Royal Thai Police

    Assist potential victims of human trafficking through the National Referral Mechanism (NRM) or self reporting process

    Visa Assistant

    Prepare documents for legal employment of staff. (Visas, Work permits, Border Pass, MOU, Social Security Fund, CI cards etc.)

    Accompany staff when needing to report at local offices.

    Victim Case Advocate

    Coordinate and communicate with internal anti-trafficking collaboration team

    Attend meetings and cooperate with relevant NGOs, CBOs and government agencies related to anti-human trafficking

    Assist in human trafficking prevention activities and trainings

    Travel provincially, nationally or internationally when determined necessary by direct management for meetings or conferences related to core responsibilities (Expenses to be covered by GAP)

  • This is a full-time position for a Thai citizen only

    Education

    Bachelor degree/or relevant professional experience;

    Experience

    Experience with registration of foundations in Thailand

    Experience with immigration/labour practices required for foundations

    Experience with oral and written translation between English & Thai.

    Advanced IT skills required

    Typing in Thai & English

    Word, Excel, with ability to learn web-based platforms

    (these skills may be assessed during the selection process)

    Language

    Fluency in Thai (oral, written, and computing) required.

    Fluency in English (oral, written and computing) required.

    Working knowledge of Sgaw Karen or Burmese is an advantage.

    (Proficiency of languages required will be evaluated through the selection process and may include written and/or oral assessments.)

    Other requirements

    Car/Motorbike driver's license

    To be considered for the position you must posses the ability to work independently and on own initiative as often the office team is fulfilling multiple roles and you might work on your own frequently.

  • 15 public holidays off

    5 days of paid holiday per year (annual leave)

    Registration in Thai Social Security Fund

    Compensation (time off) given if work on weekends is required.
