GAP was my opportunity to have access to a better education and brighter future.
This is my second year living at GAP. My brothers and I grew up at Blessed Homes, which is a partner organization. I sometimes struggle with staying focused, which led me to attend a specialized school and live with mostly older teens at the Blessed Homes youth center. Eventually, I ended up here at GAP, where I’m working on improving my focus with my schooling and growing up alongside kids who are closer to my age.
I really enjoy it here, though I do miss my family at Blessed Homes. The good thing is, I still get to hang out with my friends there during holidays and breaks. I’m super adventurous, love to fish and hunt, and I’m pretty good at sports. Check out some of my photos below!
